Is there any support for excluding sections of code

Description

We are using the codecov.sh script to collect gcov reports for our C++ codebase. I finally got this working but now want to exclude some specific lines/sections of code. Typically this is done by adding comments to mark excluded sections. For example with LCOV:

// LCOV_EXCL_START

// Excluded code

// LCOV_EXCL_END

How do I do this with codecov.io ?

A possibility is using LCOV as you described, and supply lcov’s report to codecov (using -f "<report>" with the uploader).

And you might have to turn off gcov with: -X gcov.

By default Codecov calls gcov, but it does great with lcov and grcov reports.
